When is Psychological Assessment Beneficial?

Psychological assessments are beneficial for a wide range of situations, including accurate diagnosis of mental health conditions, understanding behavioural and emotional patterns, and obtaining supports at school or in the workplace.

Psychological assessments help guide treatment, assist in developing accommodations and strategies that work best for an individual, and provide a deeper understanding of an individual’s mental health by clarifying the nature of the problems and explaining the underlying causes.
