Nicole is extensively trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure trauma therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Nicole has been providing comprehensive DBT (i.e., full program DBT) services for several years, and has experience teaching DBT skills through facilitation of DBT skills groups and has trained other clinicians in DBT-oriented therapy.

Nicole specializes in providing treatment for suicidal ideation, emotion regulation difficulties, Borderline Personality Disorder, disordered eating, self-harm, and other co-occurring mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, panic disorder, ADHD, and more. She ensures that all of her clients understand their mental health symptoms and/or diagnoses, why their symptoms may have developed, and the most evidence-based treatments and strategies for their specific concerns. Nicole also provides formal, psychodiagnostic assessments upon request.

Nicole primarily works with young adults between 20-40 years old, but welcomes adults of all ages. Nicole creates a genuine, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic relationship that facilitates self-acceptance, growth, and sustainable change. Nicole actively monitors her clients’ progress, with an emphasis on assessing symptom reduction.
