San Samra is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#15123) and a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology (PsyD) program at Adler University, currently completing his advanced therapy practicum under the supervision of Dr. Debbie Leung. He comes to Wise Mind Centre with a background in community mental health and private practice, including several years of facilitating DBT skills training groups in public mental health settings, alongside individual therapy and psychological assessment.

San has supported adults navigating anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, substance use, and relationship concerns. He offers CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and enjoys helping clients build practical, usable skills while making sense of the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, whether that shows up as recurring arguments, persistent stress, or habits that no longer serve them.

San’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. It is also shaped by his own experience of seeking support, which instilled in him a lasting belief that all people carry a natural capacity for growth and healing. As a Punjabi-speaking clinician, he values creating a space where clients from diverse cultural backgrounds feel genuinely understood.

San is a practicum trainee working under the supervision of Dr. Debbie Leung at Wise Mind Centre.

Please note that Wise Mind Centre is not a vendor of ICBC and WorkSafe BC.  San does not accept ICBC or WorkSafe BC referrals.

San is accepting comprehensive DBT and individual DBT-informed clients, depending on the fit and availability.
